God’s Easter Egg Hunt
Good morning beloved poets, it is Easter on this day;
And God has devised a game for us, that He hopes we all will play!
It’s got to do with hunting, for Easter Eggs in our hearts;
If you feel you’d like to join in, then let this game now start!
There are two very, very special ones, we will all be looking for;
We will have to dig down deeply, right to it’s inner core!
The first egg has the word “Peace” on it, the second one has “Love”;
They were sent down on this special day, from the Heavens up above!
You will know when you have found them, for you’ll feel radiant and warm;
Your heart will burst with happiness, Peace and Love will in it swarm!
Then go out to all your Brethren, shake their hands and kiss their cheeks;
For God entrusts the Earth to us, not the “Mighty”, but the “Meek”!
