Poem -

God's Hands

God called to me,
Said go fourth into the darkness,
Where I cannot see.
Bring the eyes of truth,
And the axe of justice,
Enable my reach.

Opening eyes,
From what could of possibly been a dream,
Regrettable to inform you,
This is reality,
So hard to act on,
What's been bestowed upon.

An Angel spoke,
Flaming sword in hand,
Between flowing feathered wings that spanned,
That free will is my choice,
If I ignore his mission,
Silence will claim my voice.

Into the dark,
I go fourth,
Truthful eyes blind,
Baring destiny,
I prepare for my time,
The axe of justice dragging right behind.
