God’s Messenger

My wife and I, with broken hearts
Sought a counsel, astute and smart
To lead us from the depths of pain
And stop our tears, that fell like rain
.
So we went to see a lady wise
To save us from a bad man’s lies
She listened while we told the tale
Of our hearts and Souls, so sad assailed
.
She mused then over all we said
And her sapience, she then us fed
“Sever all ties with this evil fiend”
“Let him not you both demean”
.
“Start afresh, wipe clean the slate”
“For your own two lives, it is time to sate”
“Look back not in any anger more”
“For God will open up new doors”
.
Suddenly, our pain then eased
Her words our Souls made so appeased
We thank you Rabbi, for showing us the way
Now forever at your side we’ll pray
.

Two Souls were weeping
But she brought them from darkness
To Eternal Light
