We all, at some time in our lives meet up with questions of our purpose, our place.  While the chaos reigns inside, you have a place to go, untouched by outside hands, words, or actions...where you can go and find peace for awhile where you are loved unconditionally and  God will keep you protected....

GOD’S SANCTUARY

The man that stands in the doorway

Is wearing a look of disdain

Looking down on the one, he vowed to love and cherish

But, each time he keeps breaking that promise and chain

The echo of his false opinions

Seems to reign daily in her troubled mind

And it seems to be a neverending battle

She knows she will never be heard; he’s not kind

These years cannot erase all the heartache

Or, the silence and isolation that is caused

Knowing only silence, and pure heartache

When this man speaks only of all of her flaws

She used to question herself, and then God spoke up

And, as he softly whispered these words in her ear

Turn the other cheek my beautiful child

You are rebuilding your spirit; life is waiting out there

Hoping that this road ends with triumph and glory

The path she is making shows her much more

And as she stealthy plans for the future in silence

She’s safe in God’s sanctuary where he can no longer heard…

Love is sometimes cruel, and we need others to remind us that we are not flawed, but someone worth loving, knowing....  One day I hope that the man I love will read my words and recognize how hard it is for someone to live with another, and not be recognized.....

God watch the road ahead for me….I am breaking free…
