Poem -

GONE FOREVER

As the tears raced each other

I bawled my eyes out

As the grief wrapped me

In its tortuous grasp

I lamented my loss

As my chest heaved

To unburden my heart

I saw no way out

Faith seems a waste of time

Now that absence wreck my peace

Love tries to soothe

Hope tries to console

But

Wanting claims victory

What I have lost

Will no longer come back
