Good Bye To A.I.

Just wanted to say thanks,

for all the years,

showing me I can be myself,

not worrying about who cares.

My favorite athlete of all time,

who I ran home to  watch,

that kept me out of streets full of crime.

Growing up in north Philly,

were we love our sports,

you showed our sames passion,

every time you stepped on the court.

Trend setter no doubt,

from corn rolls to tattoos,

from baggy shorts, du rags,

to necks covered in jewels. 

No matter what all the outsiders may say,

you was a person I looked up to,

who I hoped to be like some day.

I don't think there will be another,

quite like you,

I wish you all the success,

and just want to thank you.
