The Good Friday

Good Friday, also known as Holy Friday, is the Friday immediately prior to Easter Sunday. It is celebrated traditionally as the day on which Jesus was crucified. Assuming that Jesus was crucified and died on a Friday, the Christian community in the world remembers Jesus death by remembering Good Friday. Why is Good Friday referred to as “good”? What the Jewish authorities and Romans did to Jesus was definitely not good. However, the results of Christ’s death are very good .But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus Christ died for our sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit. - Courtesy and Source " The Holy Bible " WILLIAMSJI MAVELI

Today is a
Friday;
my sinned hands
wash out in the
blood of your wounds.
Today is a
Friday;
my big head
bow down at your
altar of pure love.
Today is a
Friday;
my two eyes,
looks with a guilt
at the feet
of your kindness.
Today is a
Friday;
my ruined body
feels by the holy touch
of the cross;
My body; My soul is all yours
My land; My heart is all yours!
