Good News Poem

And finally,good news at last 
​​​ A chance to eradicate bad memories of the past
A notice to say my divorce is through 
​​​​​ A celebration to that fact,is the only thing to do
Twenty two years married,the last ten,such a pain
 To undo the bad memory lock,to cast away that ball and chain
Our lives are too short to dwell on mistakes we did
 The same treatment I gave to the wedding album,shut that dustbin lid
To my new lady I celebrate,for my new life I am owing
​​​​​​ So I can add more happiness to this,my good news poem
So it's onward and upward as the saying goes 
​​​​​​ I now have happiness through my body,from my head down to my toes
