GOOD NIGHT SWEET ANGELS...

GOOD NIGHT SWEET ANGELS...

I found this poem tonight, during my editing process…and it remained me of never giving up the search…there are always good people out in the world that will outweigh the bad memories…I thank God I had the fortitude to keep looking…In the end..I found Cosmofunnel…and the Angels came through a new door…

GOOD NIGHT, GOOD NIGHT SWEET ANGELS

Good night, good night sweet angels

Please help me sleep a little now

When I wake up I need to be rested

So I can right these wrongs somehow

Twenty-four years has come and gone

I'm broken and my body is maimed

But, God you keep me here a little longer

So, I can find justice and end this medical game

Good night, good night sweet angels

My pain is quiet for a little while

And, if tomorrow I should feel its wrath again

I will deal with it with grace and a smile

My Angels, today I learned a little more

About a human beings faith and courage

And if I am meant to see what others cannot

I know I'll learn from it, as I grow and flourish

Good night, good night my sweet angels

Should I not see the light of day again

I will take with me this broken mind and body

But, on earth my spirit shall always remain....

My Cosmo Family

I found you my sweet angels

And I found this poem from long ago

It was a silent wish to find a family

Who would help repair this poet’s soul

I have finally stopped death from knocking

And outside God' sines down upon on my door

When I looked back at this silent wish I made

I know who these wishes were for…

AUTHOR WILLIAMS...

Hi Poetess Brenda,

Your above poem refers, life is always painful and stress filled, it is not easy going, accept it, never reject it, share it, moreover write about it, I love your lines quoted below:

My pain is quiet for a little while

And, if tomorrow I should feel its wrath again

I will deal with it with grace and a smile

My Angels, today I learned a little more

About a human beings faith and courage

I am inspired by your verses of pain, I shall write on this in my poetry column " RAINBOW COLORS", here rainbow represents life and its colors,

Our bodies and minds are mutually connected in parallel. Life's pain and stress, tension and stirred emotions can aggravate pain. Find ways to reduce the stress in your life; deal with your troubling emotions and your pain likely will decrease. Deep breathing, visualization and other relaxation techniques can help you calm your mind and reduce your pain.

Good write, my applause, my vote, wish to post in my FB with your kind permission

Love & hugs

Wow Brenda,

To second the sentiments offered from the comments issued by all above, is where I, (with all respect) will start and from some very high powered poets and poetess were they gave. ''Superlative write'' in this one and as Brother Barry stipulated, you are and have, a very loving and giving heart and it was only fitting, that in due time, "you" would find this site and "'it," you. Enjoyed the intensity in your faith, the belief in a better tomorrow,(''if we are willing to focus on what matters most and put forward our beliefs and needs in life and put a side, all unnecessary wants..) You have given us all, a very strong poem to digest and we enjoyed every bit of the bites. Loved this poem and the meaning attached, for its birth.......Can't elaborate on any favorite lines, (enjoyed it all)...Powerful prayer/poem and by an even powerful lady...Sleep well and with a fully content and untroublesim heart my friend...To quote Majnoon, (Glide on).

Love, hugs and prayers,

Jim
