GOODBYE 2021

The roses are starting to bloom early this year 
Unusual that in December they should appear 
A mild day it's a balmy fifteen degrees outside 
Leaving everyone I hope happy and satisfied 

No wintry snow for us here and no icy frost too 
The skies so bright and a lovely shade of blue
A time to ponder and think of the year gone by
The older one gets the quicker the time fly 

Who knows what 2022 for the world will bring
One man will no doubt weep the other man sing
I wish of course that this awful virus will go 
Before it goes I'm sure many tears will flow
