Grace, Beauty, & Love

Be it grace: and be it beauty; and be it love; for life is so
Fraught; and love is so precious. I touched a petal and heard
The wind; and colors flooded the mind; and I felt euphoric;
And pain followed; for such beauty—a graceful death; and
Such death—a forgotten love. Such tragedy: the arts of
Nature; and birds and bees bear witness; and Labradors pant
Sadness; albeit, such is joyful sadness; and albeit, they
Perish joy. I followed a butterfly: it kissed a mayfly; and
The two transformed: this is beauty: this is grace; and this is
Love; and the sky, a turquoise-grey; and the earth, a
Brownish-green; and I sit, leaping clouds; and I smile, a
Touch of grief; and love soars the heart; albeit, the eyes
Water, and joy wavers; and albeit, the tides rise, and crash the
Land; and albeit, grace, beauty, and love, perish softly.
