GRACE'S POEMS AND QUOTES GRACIA GERNALE WRITES, DREAMER

Dreamer
When she was a child
She wrote her dreams in the sand
She wanted to become
A flight stewardess
A journalist , a lawyer
Becoming a
flight stewardess
Was impossible
because
She is afraid
Of the heights
She took up journalism
Worked in the radio
Not contented
Go back to night school
Graduated law
With honors
Worked in the shipping
Business
Promoted 14
promotions
In a row
Not contented again,
She run her own
Business in
the circles of men
Everyday life is a struggle
A ronin in her must live
A code of Bushido she must fulfill
She leads 47 faithful ronins
Her life is half happy
Half crazy
She is a slave of her dreams
No reason for her to stop
All are red lights
She can't express resentment
She can't cry loud
She is a warrior
Tears are not allowed
She is a crying star
Facing all the waves
Wounded , injured
Success and failures
Are part of her struggles
She is a leader ,a mentor
A warrior ,courageous
until death she will stand
And fight for the glory of her people
Poetry
Is now her sanctuary
A special gift she keeps
Her pen dances with her heart
as she hide her pain inside
It is difficult to be her...
Difficult to be me
Yes it is possible to be
Lonely in a crowd.
