Poem -

grandad

I never really knew him, and didn't mean much to him.

fifteen years had passed, they went to fast i wanted this to last.

He was old and delicate, even elegant

The first time i saw him, he was excited and delighted that we was reunited.

He said "this is the best day of my life".

Twice i saw him, then never again

my heart stopped beating when we stopped meeting.

My mum forgot him because he made a mistake she said he was fake.

four months had gone it seemed to long,

late at night we got a fright, he fell down a flight of stairs

i wonder if my mum cares. she said it will be alright as i cried all night.

he took his last breath as he was dead.

I blame my mum as she caused him sadness

she don't know how i feel as it will never heal.
