Grandma

I don't remember much about grandma

But what I do is subtle

Every time I went to see her

She was always in that pink chair

She was very old and wise

When she went out, she used a walker

Or, was sometimes in a wheelchair

She didn't get out very much, you see

She was very old and frail

I don't know how she died

Whether from cancer or old age

I hope it was peaceful for her

I wouldn't want her in pain

I don't remember much about grandma

I know it hurt when she passed

My dad was hurt the most

He was closest to her of all of us

I don't remember much about grandma

But, I know she was the best grandma of all
