When the sun does burn the fog
Outside in my view
I’ve got a plan theres something that I really wanna do

Its almost Halloween
& Very near to mine
Theres a little place puts on a show 
So entertaining & fine

They scatter loads of scarecrows
All dressed in Halloween
Its fun trying to find them all
& They are a sight to be seen

Grandaughter Maisie & I
We will dress up like a witch
Tho my costume has a little hole
I will repair it with a stitch

I will have to find my witches hat
I really do need that
& I’ve bought  a few toy spiders with a big plastic bat

I’m gonna have to hurry
We don’t want to be late
I hope the neighbours won’t freak out 
Seeing me in this state

So Abracadabra I really must go
But you can bet I will be back
