But consider?

To have one sock is better than none.

It's cold

I may only have one

But one sock is better.

You'll laugh, at my lack of symmetry 

And would prefer that I'd none, 

But one sock is better than none.

I have one foot covered,

Can't you see what I've done?

Kept one foot warmer

Than none.
