Gratitude

Tonight the moon shines brightly, 
Amidst of the clouds with a smoky haze. 
The stars seem to appear nicely, 
In the sky with a twinkly glaze. 

The moon knows, 
Who I am in love with. 
And might have whispered the stars, 
She's the sole reason I breathe. 

Their face wink at me, 
As if acknowledging my insomnia, 
Accompanying me in this lonesome night, 
Soothing my November's nostalgia. 

Thanks to the moon & stars, 
For consoling me as I cry. 
But I chose to keep loving her, 
Until the day I take my last breath and die.
