Graves

Sunken stone in sod & mire,
Remnants of the past in rest,
Twixt the woods & church & spire,
Spectre haunts, a pest.

Nocturnal gatherings midst the dark,
Vision cams and Evps,
Sequestered forbear quiet in hark,
Phantom forlong appease.

Wondering umbra passes by,
Flustered, goosebumps everywhere,
Sombre tones upset the eye,
Clatter & knocks ensure despair.

Ghoulish cries of child's play,
Bewildered crew left harrowed,
Sudden stridor, they run away,
Succumbed to fright in hallowed.
