Grave/s

A grave was buried in a rose; and a rose suffers; but light flickers;
And pain drives; and such a grave: a grave of thorns; and heaven
Smiles: an opus smile; and hell lingers: an attic grave; and grave
To heart: a hellish grave; and soul to grave: a rapture war; and

Wash the mind: the tent of thoughts; and read the grave—a slave
Of hate; and bluest waves: an inner child; and russet seas: a tide
Of red; and feral weeds—a sore surprise: a subtle death—and
Breathless eyes; and never would—confess the pain; but evermore—

A hint of shame; and mail to black; and black to mail: a link to
Chain: a chain to hell; and never would—halt a tear; but ever-would—
Afflict a deer; and curse a child: a child was cursed; and grave to
Art—the art of graves; and flame aflare: a grave to cry: a guilted
Child: an envy tide; and crucial eyes—despise the grave: alert to hate—
And portraits feigned.
