Graves of white 🙏

There they lie covered in snow

Cold as ice tho none of them will know

As they rest in peace deep down below

And green leaves peep through where the flowers will grow..
                                ~
These plots that once was green with grass

Are graves of white with snow amass

And iciness glints like clear cut glass

On old etched names as bold as brass..
                                ~
Whence the winter melts away 

The sunshine brightens springtime’s portray

And those wet, white graves turn granite grey

That ancient graveyard where mourners pray...
