Ah, riches - would we wish for what we don't possess?
Would we prefer higher breeding or couldn't care less?
I went to an art party - someone said I wasn't at ease,
fool - he didn't aspire to being one of the bees-knees.

I am not fazed, my friend has a 'lambo,' takes it out
once in a while but can't be bothered to shout about;
the adjectives come - avarice, gluttony, greed oh so easily,
however, my saving grace you see - I have no jealousy.

Of course, most would wish for more, a little bit better,
or are you complacent, happy and just not a go-getter?
Some may be accused of 'ripping the ring' or purely
ott,
to keep a 'measure' is more sensible it seems to me.

Don't try to progress unthinkingly, just without caring,
wealth will reward you thro' decency, not just daring.
