Hello James...
That's quite the run around...
I am very familiar with the games the DMV play...
Different situation...
But, the scenario doesn't change...
They gave me the run around for three days and on the second day they thought I was out the door and I turned around stepped back in after I heard the woman who sent me on this wild chase and a four hour wait each time was talking to a woman next to her and they were laughing...
Someone else who was waiting said don't get mad they do it all the time...
It's a joke to them, but if you get an attitude they will put something into the computer and then you'd be really F###'d...
I said thanks and walked out the door...
Great awareness write!
Thank you for sharing...
Hugs...

Thanks Sparrowsong,
For Helen and I, the worst part was the 6 months of no communication - of no knowing if it was going through, or at the end of 12 months we would have to do the same process all over again.
It is a bit better with the Homeland Security web-site - know you can see where you are at in the process. I had to call my Congressman at least three times to help get it moving.....
Having a good attitude you had helped your process...good for you.
