"Green door"

Here's a story from my old school days, of a sinister girl with peculiar ways..
her name was Margaret but was always called Maggie,
not very clean and clothes all raggy..
well every lesson she'd turn up late, a little bit thick n she never knew the date..
"where have you been?" the teacher would bellow, a very stern man but a decent fellow..
"through a Green door" She would always reply, teacher scratched his head but never asked why..
Maggie would sit down as if nothing was wrong, carry on with the lesson until the bell went bong!
well everyday when Maggie was late, it was always her, well her and a mate..
"I went through a green door" it was the same each time, not a proper excuse just the same old slime..
well the teachers got sick of her pathetic excuse, "we should ask her again..ah but what's the use"..
you see Maggie wasn't daft as we all thought, because this excuse she was taught..
her mam used the same when she was late for school, and just like maggie liked to play the fool..
so all the years we had at school, maggie was clever and nobodies fool..
to skip the lessons she didn't like to do, this was the excuse she'd always turn to..
so the teachers never knew what was behind the green door, cos they didn't have the bottle to ask "what for"
so remember when at work and you're sick of the floor, take the day off and say "well I went through a green door"
to this day I never knew what
Maggie saw behind the green door???????
