Green Tangents
I love trees .. but
How would you defend against a nuclear strike?
We would plant more trees ..
So how would you prevent more cyber-attacks?
We would be sure to plant more trees ..
Okay so what about natural disasters, like famine,
earthquakes, floods or maybe
another pandemic, world war three, or for example
invasion from another galaxy?
Rest assured my friend, we would plant more trees ..

Seriously though, as much as I love trees, I have been wondering what i should do in the event of a nuclear attack. My instinct is to run. I say run but I mean drive. And drive fast. Where to? I don't know...just away from any big city. Away from any military bases. Will there be time? Is there actually any safe place here? Lots of thoughts. Far more than I've listed but not a single thought revolves around trees. And the last thought is always ... we're going to die.
Cyber attacks ... well I suppose we will be getting the pen and paper out so I suppose there's a little bit of logic in the trees on that count.
Sod all the problems. Trees are beautiful. lets plant more.

Neville I love this. I love the way you use the worldwide patter of fake oneliners used by liars worldwide in the hope that the thick masses will be quelled and quieted but on a deeper level I like the in your face statement of the utter ridiculousness that our world has become.
