Guarding Eden

Guarding Eden

Guarding Eden

Seek not entry to a world of peace, lay not thy hand upon thy breast,
Swear thee not allegiance to a greater cause, nor place thy obedience to the test

Seek thee not what serpents desire, nor break thy bond upon the edge of a fiery blade,
Place not thy sacrifice of a loyal heart on cold stone, for upon this altar a choice was made

Thou hast laid upon thy brow a mark, thou hast no entry here,
What once was held in blessed bliss, hast departed with awakened fear

There is no succour here, for the faithless nor the weak of heart,
Thou art sons of man and forever barred, from Eden thou art apart

Seek me not nor call my name, for thy choice be marred by fire,
Upon thy word I lay not faith, ever vigilant I do not tire
