In The Mind of Man

Should I speak the words of love, and whisper the music of lust, should I touch that inner part of you, wrapped in flesh and bone devoid of trust, should I atone, for things I have not yet done, should I depart quietly as the guilty one?

Would you hold me in your eyes, wrapped tightly around my heart, hand in hand this world to depart, seeking answers to troubles thought, shall we absolve the anger, needlessly self taught?

Should I hold you tight in deep embrace, should I read you like aΒ  book from the expression on your face, for all the answers are wrong, and my intention mistook, may I rest my case, and close this painful book?
