GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR

Bodies are left to rot on the busy streetsĀ
A place where tragedy and sadness meets
The street maybe very far from hereĀ
Still touches my heart and I cry a tear

Seven thousand deaths in just this one cityĀ
So much anguish and so much pity
Death certificates issued for the deadĀ
Only a formality it has to be saidĀ

A living hell this city surely must beĀ
This virus has left its mark as you can seeĀ
When will it be over I'm not really sureĀ
My thoughts are with Guayaquil, Ecuador
