Gunning For You
I had you in my sights from day one
l knew it wouldn't be long until
I would move in for the kill
Your heart was my target
So, so red
Love pulled the trigger
Before I was dead
My hope for love was dying
Romance was a myth
But, not to be toyed with
Like a heart that is mummified
It's re-animated
Stimulated by a touch
I have awaited
And I waited
Waited for the opportune time
To commit the perfect crime
I zeroed in on you
Before anyone else could
Gunning for you, I knewΒ
That I would get you good
And I got you
I got you and will never...
let go, it will be forever
I have you, your heart, in my sights
