Dearly Departed

The tears, the pain, and the memories, are all I’ve left of you.

These things that e’er remind me, of our love that was so true.

That saddest night you left me, I felt my spirit die.

And my soul since you’ve departed, forever for you cries.

Tell Me Lies

I’m begging you to tell me lies, for the truth, I want not hear.

For if you can prevaricate, I’ll never know, you are no longer near.

I’d rather live with falsehoods life, than veracities’ your untimely end.

And lose myself in a web of lies, there, and forever there, we’ll spend.
