HALF YOUR HEART

HALF YOUR HEART

Give me half your heart
That's more than I've ever had
One hundred percent of me
From the conventions end, far as the eye can see

Carnival lights come on, fairest wheels go round
The beat of the bass, the organ sound
Stay for the night, give me half your heart
I know about them other guys Wendy, but it's a start!

I've moved away from here, long before I ever did
At night I dreamed of a better place, under my sheets we hid
You gave me all of your attention
I loved you with no pretension
Out the window I can hear the Mary-go-round

Carnival lights come on, fairest wheels go round
The beat of the bass, the organ sound
Stay for the night, give me half your heart
I know about them other boys Wendy, but it's a start!

Such a beautiful write dear Anthony, to have half of someones heart is better than having non of their heart, well displayed emotions without judgment,
