Halfway across the World

I left you there alone my love
To travel 'cross the sea
And every day I feel you
Calling on the wind to me.

I cannot yet believe I'm gone
Or that we are no more
And wonder am I strong enough,
Once all of this is o'er,
To still resist the urge to knock
Upon your open door.
