The pumpkins marched in one by one
to take their place in the town of fun
angry faces , cheeky grins
candle hearts ,a light within
evil eyes and crooked smiles
plump and ready to go
taking over halloween night
every house they sit and show
invasion of the pumpkins
are seen around the town
but after midnight ,time is up
some trampled to the ground
a must on halloween night they are
to add fear to your scary house
once a year they come out to play
