HAMMER AND TONG

By the castle they were going at it hammer and tong
Both of them accusing each other of doing wrong
She accused him of having an affair
To him she said that he doesn't care

He accused her of being drunk every night
To her he said that can't be right
The passers by could hear their voices raised
Still they shouted untroubled and unfazed

How this all ended I'm not really sure
My bus arrived to take me to work once more
