HANDS IN HIS POCKETS

Hands in his pockets and out in the rain
Another day wandering the streets once again
Looking for handouts and a bite to eat
A warm drink would be a welcome treat

The box he slept in last night was ripped and torn
The clothes he wears are now weathered and worn
Think about this man as you go about your day
Makes me feel humble I have to say

Far too many homeless soldiers and youngsters sleeping on our streets now let down by this Tory Government.  We should be thinking about them all Kieran. Great thought provoking write. DD X
