For Dear Debs
Even though I am a stranger, and we both have never met;
I’m friends with your daughter Deborah, the nicest a Dad could get!
I just read her Birthday poem, she wrote today for you;
Quite interestingly, you share the same one that my wife does, forty-five, not forty two!
I’ve had much pain for my dear doggie, my soulmate that had to leave;
And your precious daughter Deborah, has helped me as I grieve!
She’s written heartfelt, and many kind words, with the wisdom of a pearl;
I can see how much she loved you, your darling little girl!
So I wanted to write a poem, to show her that I care;
And let her know I appreciate, her always being there!
So Happy Birthday Mr. Brian Thomas John, have a piece of cake on me;
Someday you and your Angel Deborah, will join again for eternity!

Hi Dear G,
When I read her poem to her Dad, it brought tears to my eyes, for I lost mine at the early age of 61. So I have experienced that same pain of losing one of their beloved parents when they are so young. Thank you so much, for as usual, your words of love.
