Happy birthday joey

Happy birthday Joey,

I hope you have a day full of happiness and elated joy.

It seems so long ago,

We met as each a year 7 boy.

Not liking each other,

To becoming best friends overnight.

Starting off our friendship, 

Protecting each others back,

If ever in a fight.

How we’d bunk off school,

Toking in teenage delight.

I'm just lucky to have had you here,

And I’ve been for No matter the high,

No matter the pli

ght.We know at the end of the day,

We’ve both,Along you 

,

Made the other one more sturdy,

Definitely right 

Before I got ill we used to be able to drink and have a laugh,

Deep into the night.

I wonder how long now I’d last?

Well anyway joey.

I just wanted to say Happy birthday,

And thank you for always being there for my kids and I.

I can’t wait to there see you,

Without a covid mask!
