Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday To Me

Ridin' in the looney van down 85.
The looney woman across from me,
Tryin' to make small talk.
She wasn't sayin' looney things,
But the pain made her insane.
And that's one thing we had in common,
While ridin' this looney train.
After a night of having a bottle of tequila in my left hand,
And a cocaine straw in my right,
Died and went to hell,
After an overdose on the white.
Revived the next morning, by the grace of God,
In the North Carolina rehab,
A wise, jolly, old woman said to me,
"Remember this baby,
North, South, East and West.
This is the way the world is made,
These is things you got to know."
I was given a grand, majestic boat to float on,
But never learned how to row.
And when the ones who loved me tried to teach,
I paid no mind and didn't care to know.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen,
May God have mercy on my soul.

Can't play it safe

In a world of uncertainty, where fears collide,
We stand at the edge, looking far and wide.
