Happy Ending To Date Day
It’s another red hot date day, she wears a multi flowered blouse;
Her long hair hangs down on her sleek white pants, she has me all aroused!
I’m planning to surprise her, with a poem about our love;
How our union was long ago decided, by the stars so far above!
So today I will be serious, I’ve tried a new approach;
For if I can win her with my poetry, she’ll then beg me to encroach!
She has no idea I’ve done this, for my norm is comedy;
She’s expecting words of my humor, so really different will this be!
Our Love Is Eternal
You bring the purest love to me, like none I’ve e’er been shown;
The beauty of your sweetest soul, like none I’ve ever known!
The softness of your tender touch, like silk upon my skin;
The day we met our hearts were one, there our Odyssey begins!
For almost twenty five great years, we’ve loved beyond compare;
You’ve given me just what you pledged, a wealth of gorgeous hair!
I wish we’d met when we were young, shared twenty five “more” years;
To save ourselves the heartache, from mates that brought us tears!
But in our forties on that Blessed night, the first time our eyes met;
It was preordained in the stars above, our paths were long firm set!
Yet our journey now has just begun, we have many more joys to share;
And our souls will never be apart, for eternity their love is there!

What a beautiful poem for my wonderful favourite couple. Well done my Larry, Linda deserves every single beautiful word of it. I am thrilled for you both and wish you both many more happy years together. It will be our 32nd Anniversary on the 1st June, his Lordship deserves a bloody medal for putting up with me for that long! no wonder he`s nearly bald and what hair is there has gone white!!!!

We aren't sure if Larry has told you this before, but your Anniversary is the same date as the birthday of his dearly departed Sister Melodee. In fact, he has already been working on a lovely poem to post for her. Thank you for those lovely words, but Larry thinks that maybe "his Lordship" should be giving you a medal, because there is no more kinder, loving woman than you in the world.

That's really funny that you think she looks like Cher, because people have been telling us that for over twenty years. In fact when we used to do Karaoke and want to perform a duet, we would always do Sonny and Chers' "I Got You Babe".
