Happy or Sad or Both

Neither happy nor sad, but both; and sometimes happy, and
Sometimes sad; but always balanced. Such an ideal; and we
Scrape the ceiling; and such is vague; and we scrape a star.
I pass the forest and trip the desert. The lights are brilliant:

A prism; but sorrow tugs, and joy stumbles; and something
Moves a tear. I pause and ponder the power of love: it
Motivates; and thus, the magic; and thus, the voyage. I’m
Certain she suffers: a present for every tear; and something

Bubbles; and I dare fix a rose: a thousand shards: a million
Dreams. Neither happy nor sad, but both; and I lie this
Vision; and feel this life. A mask slipped and slid and shattered:
I was naked; and thus, I ran home and grabbed a mask. How
Vulnerable the soul; and we hide an ocean. I focus this grief;
And scribble this pain: free to love; and free to fly.
