Happy Thanksgiving
It's cold outside
Let's put everything aside
We're going to be locked up inside
Sharing a bounty with those we love
Yeah, family from the Lord above
Too much food and eyes so big
Let's get a little bit of everything
So what if there's 20 items here
We're obligated for it's Thanksgiving - Thanksgiving
Time for dessert is near
Where can I fit it?
Hey, I need some coffee over here!
Is it time to go home yet?
My stomach is too full
Eyelids are heavy
So much food
Could I borrow a bed?
For just a wink or two
I know it would help me get ready
For round number two
But instead - out with the games
In a couple of rounds
I'll get past these sleepy blues
And be happy to have memories
Of this year too!
