Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

This Thursday is Thanksgiving, our Holiday shared by all;
When families come together, in the waning days of Fall!
To eat turkey with all the fixin’s, then pecan and pumpkin pie;
Giving thanks for God’s kind bounty, prayers echoing towards the sky!
.
It’s the start of the Christmas season, Santa arriving in a parade;
Our Nations mood so gleeful, animosities slightly fade!
So, to all our friends on Cosmo, we wish you and yours the best;
May your day be filled with loving, and a fine feast to all ingest!
.
.
We wish to you all
A most happy Thanksgiving
With your loved ones

All our love,
Linda, Larry and Cookie

Lovely,  as a "foreigner" it gave me some spiritual insight into customs your side of the pond.
I love "animosities slightly fade"

Our Dear John,

It is so interesting, that the first Thanksgiving celebrated in America, was done so by people just arriving from "your side of the pond", the Pilgrims.  Thanks for the lovely comment and pin.

All our love,
