Hard as Hell❄️

‘Heaven’s above!’ It is minus 8 outside
As I peer from my window at the scenery far & wide
Crikey Moses I almost fell over as I was nipping to my bin
But I managed to save myself tho my heads now in a spin

But seriously tho, It’s hard as hell & Baltically chilly
I know I’m on again about the cold, probably sounding very silly

Yet spare a thought for the homeless,  just a sleeping bag & stuff
I can’t imagine nothing worse than that, Oh how roughing it must be tough

How on earth do they survive they always appear so thin
The icy rawness must freeze them, penetrating bones within
Surely there has to be a refuge, somewhere they rest
Some local charity hall to keep the shivers from their chest

Huh even our pet ducks are struggling today
They keep climbing on our fence, seem to prefer it that way
I reckon its coz the ground is as hard as hell
They’ve only got little web-feet so they easily slip as well

Well toodleoo thats my grumbles for today
