HARD RAIN
At the very heart of me, it rains
My lord, please clear my misted sight
That I may hence view thy divinity
For I am but a nimble spirit, bravely minded
And keenly aware of Mother Nature's depths
As she so obviously
Soaks up the rain
While training men's thoughts
Elsewhere
-------------------------------------------------
If I have freedom in my love of metaphysics
And if in my soul I am free
In my celestial meanderings
Will not the rain then cease
And the sunlight of thy glory
Shine upon my face
As I stand here ashamed and most tired
Of this human race
It taunts me, as if to say
I am ignorant
Of your glorious
Insight
Into the seasons
And the rain it brings
Diminishing me
Daily
-------------------------------------------------
I am most ready my Lord
Wash me clean
That I may linger in the garden
With the golden sunlight
Of thy glory
Upon my face...

My Dear Brother Poet Tony,
For forty days and forty nights
It rained within his Soul
Each gene and chromosome so carefully paired
For the cleansing make him whole
.
On the forty-first the sunlight came
As he alit his bodie's Ark
The Lord then took him by his hand
And led him from the dark
Peace, Love and Prayers,
Larry xxx
