Hark! A Feather of Angel Care"
Gentle grace of angelic feathered shield
guides all steps on each lone lived path
where every tread unsure and rocky be
holds to safety with no wings revealed
Silent whispers rest unsettled ears
if insecure of choice or strength
softly encompass within feathered solace
freeing staid blindness of dark fears
Then if in despair be swamped and stark
desolate of hope and faith to know
will thus shed a white feather to find
revealing an inspiring Angel's hark
Awakening mind to accept all light
filtering through a black abyss
falling from the stars and more
Angels blessed with holy incite
A fragment of Heaven's beautiful soul
through each Angel's feather a gift to sense
the flowing presence of a powerful radiance
and as one we become the whole
With all experience a Heaven's sharing
each tear shed wiped by an Angel's hand
God's guardians to humanity a praise
a symbol of a feather and its forever caring

From the time I was able to venture out on my own I would here my name being called and I would run home only to find out no one called for me...
I would ask my friends is someone calling me they said they didn't hear anything...
I knew I had better go check because one time they were calling me and I didn't think they were and I got into a lot of trouble for not answering...
Then I started finding feathers everywhere and my friends would ask me where did I find it...
I found it in my yard or on the way to their house or just out and about...
They would accuse me of buying it and I said no I didn't...
I found it...
Now, my Granddaughter is always so proud when she comes to Nana's and she always finds a feather and she has me put in a bag for her and she says Nana I don't find feathers, but when I come to your house I find them why is that?
I just smile and say it's a sign of love when we're together...
