Harry Spider ?

In the fleet of a glimpse
from amidst the corner of my eye
Instantly a scarey spider is dangling as I lie
Why does this happen ?
Is it the spider’s intention to fright ?
I was in my bubble unaware
Then a speedy spider was my sight

Yikes he’s so formidable
As he scuttles on his silky thread
I need to shift my shaken body before he lands on my head
But I dare not move a muscle
I’m too afraid to even blink
This detective of a creepy crawly
Is watching me as I think

He is as sharp as a needle
So sneakily sly
Yuk I hate this spider 
Yet I do not know why
Tho he is only miniscule
I must look like a gigantic beast
But my vivid imagination
Sees me as his table feast

Oh well I’ve come to a conclusion
I shall run as fast as can be
Yes he may be watching but he will never catch me
Then I’ll get my better-half
to put Harry spider in a jar
Take him away from my house
Set him free from afar
