Poem -

Hate

I was raised not to hate.

But it’s hard not to blame.
With all the murder and rape.
Corrupt government
On freight.
Train,
With no breaks.
Our leader is insane.
Building a wall in vain.

And terrorist infiltrate
Our happy place.
The one place we
Thought was safe,
Our brain.

Children afraid,
Hungary and broke.

While we have blankets
Food and medicine in stow

I was raised not to hate.
I think I’m ok.
There’s only one thing I hate.
That’s hate.
