HATS OFF TO YOU MOTHER IN HEAVEN

HATS OFF TO YOU MOTHER IN HEAVEN

You raised us single-handedly
and heard our appeals and needs
Every day, every year
If only you had the answer
to make us all happy
what a strenuous responsibility you bore alone.
Your tidal wave of sentiments stripped to the bone
A role you understood even with its intricate demands.
The reward came seeing us
Five kids so very blessed
to have love so very true
Five kids so very blessed
to have a mother like you.

Happy Mother's day in heaven Nanay.
She raised us single-handedly after our father died .
she was 29 yrs old, my father was 28.
On this picture, She was 4 months pregnant with me.
She was holding my sister, who was 1 year old.
