Haunted

To stay one more night fills me with dread

Why didn't I buy somewhere else instead ?

My well-being is on the line again tonight

As every creak and groan causes fright

The notorious address was dirt cheap

But once again I will not get a drop of sleep !

So much murder an mayhem happened here

Restless spirits make their presence all too clear.

It is an all encompassing fear that takes hold 

As to approach this dwelling is only for the bold !

Evil impregnates every nook and cranny of this place

Made obvious by the expression on every face !

All tell tales of what occurred to those that stay

In a house where demons come out to play,

Tormenting victims until their hearts take no more

Or until they have been shaken to their very core.

So the choice becomes plain and simple for me

Leave this abode or risk losing what remains of sanity.
