HE DIDN'T NOTICE ME

Pulling up the kerbside in one of his Jags
Didn't notice me with my rags in bagsĀ
I can see he wore the finest of clothesĀ
Oozing wealth and richness I supposeĀ

My worldly pocessions in bags of twoĀ
He then spotted me come into his view
No words exchanged just gave me a glance
This could be my moment and my chanceĀ

"Excuse me sir" as I started to speakĀ
"Care to help the poor and the weak"
The rich man quickly went back to his car
Just goes to show how rich people are
