Poem -

He is a man, he will know what to do

He is a man, he will know what to do

The journey was long and rough,
The mother could not go any further.
For the child, a boy things got tough.
Sunny was the weather,
Hunger and thirst stroke as death tried to triumph.

He's a man he will know what to do

The woman, a mother to a man soon to be
Could hear foot step of death approach
She knew she would die like a bee
And tears streamed down her cheeks like soldiers in march
When she thought of her son, a man to be.

He's a man he will know what to do

The war back at home
Forced children to become men
All for the sake of glory and fame
Causing women and children to run
While the war grows bloom.

He's a man he will know what to do

Death got near and near,
The woman did not know what to do,
She held her son tight with fear
And whispered you're a man you will know what to do.
The boy seemed not to hear.

He's a man he will know what to do

''Mom! Mom! Don't sleep
We still have a long journey ahead ''
The boy started to weep
But the woman was dead
That hurt him so deep.

He's a man he will know what to do
